Wonderful staff. I was super nervous going in and they made me feel so comfortable. Dr Wilson was extremely nice and didn't judge my years of neglect to my teeth. I just hope that I get the chance to see them again. If I could I would give 100 stars. Keep up the good work.

First visit and I absolutely love Appalachian dental care all the staff was so friendly and fantastic. My cleaning was so easy. I don’t think I’ve ever had one go this good. This is my new Dentist home. Wish I had moved here a year ago. Dr. Wilson was really great. Informed me about things and got me set up to get it all fixed. Highly recommend Thank you so much

Dr. Wilson is by far the most compassionate and kind dentist I have ever met. I needed an emergency extraction for a wisdom tooth. I have SEVERE dental anxiety from past trauma with extractions as a kid and was terrified for the procedure. Even more so when the anxiety meds didn't really do anything to take the edge off and the nitrous didn't work. (Yes, just my luck, I am one of those rare people, lol). Dr. Wilson had no issue with my husband staying in the room the whole time. He explained everything he was doing and went slowly, never made me feel bad for being emotional, and even held my hand at one point for reassurance. I won't say it was the most pleasant experience of my life, but even when it came time for the numbing shots he was very gentle and I barely felt a pinch. Dr. Wilson has such an incredible bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks to him, I think I may finally be able to start overcoming my fear of the dentist. Thank you again, Dr. Wilson. You made what I was fully expecting to be an awful experience as pleasant as possible and your kindness will not be forgotten!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience today. Every single person in the office was kind, professional, honest, and genuinely helpful. I came in after being told elsewhere that I urgently needed a root canal or extraction, with an estimated cost of about $3,600. The dentist took new X-rays, performed a thorough exam, and carefully explained everything. To my surprise, I learned that I do not need a root canal, extraction, or any treatment for an infection because there isn’t one. Instead, they identified the actual problem: jaw clenching and bite issues. Their recommended treatment is Invisalign and a custom night guard to correct the underlying cause and protect my teeth. Not only did they save me from an unnecessary dental procedure, but they also potentially saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of stress. I am incredibly grateful for their honesty, thoroughness, and willingness to look deeper instead of jumping straight to an invasive treatment. If you’re facing a major dental procedure, I highly recommend getting a second opinion—and I highly recommend this office.

Small town Boone town friendly and very competent folks literally everyone front desk, X-ray tech, hygienist and dentist. Some folks just now how to show up and take care of biz with a smile on their face and once in awhile a whole office but it’s rare. Happy to have found our new family dentist.
